Jacques and Frank’s wedding day was special for to me for so many reasons! First, it was my first time shooting a wedding solo, but the photographers were our good friends from The Bertrand’s Photography so this definitely helped with my nerves. Second, the ceremony was held at Acadian Village just outside of Lafayette, Louisiana. I’ve been going there since I was a kid, but now I got to go again, as a wedding videographer…what a dream come true!

This place couldn’t be cooler! It’s filled with rich Louisiana history such as the replica cabins, workshops, carriages and of course the little chapel were Jacque and Frank exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful day that seemed to flow so smoothly only to be capped off with the most beautiful reception at Café Vermilionville. A gorgeous restaurant located in the heart of Lafayette, that offers some of the best food, drink and hospitality around. Their reception was flawless with the long table in the middle of the room that was filled with candles, fine dishes and silverware. Portraits of the couple filled the room along with a table with sweets in one corner and the wedding cake in the other. It was a work of art and the couple couldn’t of looked happier!

I was so honored to have been a part of this memorable day and I wish this happy couple all the best in the years to come!

Congratulations Jacques + Frank!!
