FAQ’S

What is your shooting style?

We create films that are raw, authentic, intentional, and emotional. To do this, we respect your space and try to be as discreet and subtle as possible. We love and use a classic + timeless light and airy style because we believe that it best reflects the emotions of the day!

What do you require to book?

To book your date we require a 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract to officially secure your wedding date. The remainder is due four weeks before your wedding day.

How long does our film take to complete?

Films are typically delivered 8-10 months after the wedding date. After a wedding day, we usually end up with 400+ video clips, hundreds of GB of footage, and audio files from several sources. Between finding music, organizing & culling your footage, syncing footage to audio, color correcting, and thoughtfully editing your wedding footage together, editing can take between 30-50 hours over the course of the 8-10 months.

Do we get to choose the music for our film?

Kinda… But ultimately no. The music picked for your film is so important! We definitely want to pick some songs that

best match you, that’s why we send you a fun little questionnaire all about your guys music likes, dislikes, and favorite genres! With the laws in place, our music MUST be licensed, and we cannot use popular music unless its licensed through one of the websites, because NO ONE likes lawsuits, or thousands of dollars in fines. Those

dang copyright laws, amiright. Lombas film co ultimately choose the final song used!

How far in advance do you book?

We book to up to 18 months in advance, and as little as the day before! We highly recommend booking your videographer around the same time you book your photographer because we get booked out just as fast!

Who will be there on our wedding day?

Paul, the lead shooter of Lombas Film Co., will be there for sure. Depending on which package you chose if it includes a 2nd shooter then Marianne will be there as well or another 2nd shooter we hire.
